I just don't like you

Two nights ago my girlfriend Nicole and I ventured out to a bar in Sacramento to grab a couple of drinks and catch up...and by catch up...of course we endulged in some man hating...it's only fair

So we were sitting at a booth, mid conversation...when one of Sacramento's finest asked if he could join us. We looked at each other speechless...but our faces were having the conversation of "oh shit, how do we get rid of him"...so we studdered and said we were just having a girls night and trying to catch up...he sat down anyways.

Nicole was talking to him as I sat quietly....clearly I was annoyed, because if you know me well...if i'm not talking, it's because i'm not happy! He looked at me and said sarcastically, "Wow, you're quite the talker" so I turn to him and say "I just don't like you...
He then replied  "What is it about me that you don't like?" In my mind i'm thought....would you like a list???

He began trying to analyze us, asking if we had just gotten dumped, etc...you know...because in his mind...that's the logical reason for rejection..."These girls must have just been dumped...it can't be my crappy personality, mediocre looks and receding hairline."
Meanwhile, my girlfriend was squirming in her seat, trying not to pee herself because she didn't want to excuse herself to the bathroom and leave me all alone with this douchebag and his 2 friends. But she can't take it anymore...so she left me...

He then proceeded to tell me (although I did not ask) how he had just gotten out of a 5 year relationship. I made the mistake of asking why he got dumped. He said that she thought he wasn't ever going to propose...so I said "Well...were you???" He said, "The funny thing is, I was going to play golf with her dad the next day and ask him if I could marry her." <right - and I ate shit for breakfast> So I said, "Well why didn't you just get down on one knee and propose to her then and there so she wouldn't have dumped you?" And he says "Well it would have been forced then."

"If you really wanted to marry her you would have sacked up and proposed instead of letting her walk out of your life...you could be married right now." He then got up...put his hand in my face and said "You aren't a nice person....but that's ok"

Wow...i'm sorry, you say that I like I care? Good riddance...at least we got our booth back!
